In support of education on our motherland, the Okuapemman Europe Chapter has donated books worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to the Ghana library Board. The donation was presented to the Okere District Library at Abiriw Akuapim.

The Library Board appreciated greatly and commended all efforts of Okuapimman Europe for their and unflinching support in Education on the Akuapem Land.
Odwira Festival 2019 promises to bring together the people of
Okuapemman, Ghana and Africans from across the Diaspora for a unique
cultural experience, presenting an opportunity to learn about and
connect with the rich history of Okuapemman. Dubbed
“Odwira Unlimited”,
This year’s Festival considers the significance of the Year of Return
in the lives of Africans around the world and is set to combine the
colourful cultural drumbeat at the heart of the Festival with fun,
modern attractions towards creating an unforgettable experience for its
patrons.
By combining sports, entertainment and the experience of local arts
and culture, as well as hiking, expeditions, mountain climbing and
marathons, this year’s Odwira promises to have something for everyone.
There will also be the opportunity to visit attractions like the Aburi gardens, Boti falls, Bosomase falls, the Abontsi slave market, Okomfo Anokye’s home, the Larteh shrine, the Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa farm, as well as a tour of the Chief’s Palace, cultural durbars amongst other activities.
It is an honour to introduce the Akuapem Education Trust Foundation to you and your organisation. The Akuapem Education Trust Foundation is a non-governmental organisation whose core mandate is to sponsor higher education for individuals on the Akuapem ridge. The Trust seeks to provide funding for the provision of human bright, hardworking and underprivileged capital, educational infrastructure and facilities within the Akuapem locale.
The Foundation is starting
its maiden edition of the scholarship program for Senior High school graduates
in the Akuapem Ridge. This scholarship will sponsor the tuition fees of
selected beneficiaries who have gained admission into public tertiary
institutions.
Applications for the
scholarship are open from August 1st 2019 to September 30th 2019.
To qualify for this
scholarship applicants must meet the following requirements:
Applicant have to be natives of the Akuapem Ridge
Applicant must have gained admission into a public tertiary institution
Applicant must show demonstrable need for support with a personal statement.
One scholarship will be
dedicated to applicants who have gained admission to study
Akuapem Twi language at a
